On 25 October 2009, Vanessa Ugatti will be taking part in the 10 mile Great South Run at Southsea Portsmouth, to raise funds for the Wessex Autistic Society and to give herself a new personal challenge. Vanessa has been inspired to team up with other members of local networking group, The Carrington Club, forming their own training group for the event.

 
Vanessa commented on the quest “It doesn’t sound as glamorous as a skydive which I experienced two years ago, but personally, I feel it will be a much greater challenge, both physically and mentally. Coincidentally, the race takes place, just three days before the first anniversary of my Father’s death, so it will be an emotional time all round.”
