About Vanessa Through Watch Out World, Vanessa trains and coaches people in the art of public speaking so that their message is conveyed confidently and gives the right impression, first time, every time. This is delivered through a variety of positive, facilitated group sessions or in one-to-one coaching. Through a blend of training and coaching, Vanessa will enable you to improve the most important aspects of verbal communications: what you say, how you say it and body language, while also coaching you to build your confidence.
Whether you're in business and want to present the right image both to clients and colleagues or you have a nerve-racking wedding speech or social presentation to make, Vanessa can help.
As a coach, she is passionate about transforming people’s mind-sets as well as their skills in relation to speaking in public. The result is that they are able to present their messages clearly, effectively and with confidence, enabling them to gain more clients and get more business. She has worked with people from many different business sectors from accountants and solicitors to doctors and even an equine vet.
Vanessa says: “It’s really heart-warming when a delegate on a course says in the morning, “I hate public speaking” and by the end of the day they have had a major shift which is evident in their presenting.” Working from the perspective that everyone can speak in public, given the right tools and subject knowledge, her role is to bring out the best in them and help them understand how to connect with their audience so that they can truly get their message across.
Confidence is of course a massive part of the process, without which, nothing works properly. She coaches people to be more confident either as part of professional speaking or independently so that they have the confidence to go to the next level in their business, start a new business, apply for a promotion or attend an interview for a new job. For others, it is the confidence to speak in public, attend and make the most of networking events, or speak up at meetings.
As an executive coach, she helps people clarify what they want to achieve, what is holding them back and how to break through barriers to enable them to move towards their speaking, business or personal goals.
